Tai Chi Tuesdays with Will at Station No. 2
Station No. 2
Each class follows a foundational flow that builds awareness, balance, and natural movement through Heaven → Earth → Wu Ji (stillness). We open with a warm-up sequence: - Heaven (upper awareness): light posture, spinal alignment, crown openness, and relaxed breath - Earth (grounding): rooting through the feet, weight shifting, stability, and connection to the ground - Wu Ji (stillness): deep relaxation, internal quiet, and deep "ocean" breathing to center the system From there, we build the practice: - Simple foundational Tai Chi movements introduced slowly and clearly — soft stepping, relaxed coordination, natural flow - Emphasis on Wu Wei (effortless action) — movement without force or tension - Gradual linking of movements into smooth, continuous flow - Ongoing focus on balance, grounding, and whole-body awareness - Breathwork maintained throughout as a steady internal rhythm As the series progresses, we expand into deeper layers: - Energy and internal awareness development - Healing sound practices - Broader education on life force (Qi) and its relationship to the body and human experience - Deeper integration of mindfulness, breath, and movement as one unified system We close each class by returning to Wu Ji stillness — integrating the practice into everyday life: walking, standing, and daily awareness.
The goal is to build not just movement skill, but a deeper understanding of balance, internal calm, and the living energy that animates the body and human experience. ✦ Stay on for more: Pat Ulacco's Tranquil Tuesdays guided meditation begins right after at 6:00 PM in the same space — making Tuesday evenings at Station No. 2 a beautiful full practice from movement to stillness.

Boundless Tour in the PNC USCT Park
Cameron Art Museum
Step into history with a guided tour of Boundless, a life-size bronze sculpture by artist Stephen Hayes. Located in PNC USCT Park on CAM’s grounds, this striking monument honors the legacy of the United States Colored Troops (USCT)—the brave soldiers who fought in the Battle of Forks Road during the Civil War in 1865.
The sculpture was created from casts of the features of 11 African American men connected to the site and its story – USCT descendants, re-enactors, veterans, and community leaders. Boundless was unveiled on November 13, 2021, and is on permanent view in the PNC USCT Park on the museum grounds. The sculpture is deeply connected to our community’s history, present, and future.
When: Every Friday from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Free with museum admission.
Your tour will be led by one of our knowledgeable tour guides.
