Overview
new year, new songs :(:
i’m happy to report SSHH returns next month 💚Looking forward to sharing the stage with some folks whose music i’ve really enjoyed these past couple of months.
- Glow In the Dark Scars @glowinthedarkscars - Indie rockers of Wilmington anti-folk lore
- Emily June @emilysjune - Charlotte based indie singer/songwriter making waves in Wilmington
Both of these artists released music this year and I can’t recommend listening to them enough. Don’t take my word for it though, come out to @bourgienights on Sunday, January 11th and hear for yourself.
Sad Song Happy Hour is a listening room style event, featuring three different artists in an intimate environment conducive to sharing songs. There is no cover; you only need to pay attention.
Attendees are also invited to sign up for an open mic drawing 🎰 Between each featured set, one person may be chosen at random from the signups to come up and share a song or two. A guitar will be available but you’re welcome to bring your own instrument as well.
