Welcome to Carolina Beach Pier! A cherished landmark and a must-visit destination for people of all ages (and their furry friends!) seeking a unique beach experience. Our property is a fast-casual bar & grille perched majestically right on the ocean and boasts multiple indoor and outdoor venue areas, each exuding its own unique charm! *No Fishing* Since Hurricane Florence took the end of the pier in 2018, we’ve been operating as a bar & grille rather than a fishing pier.

The BARge in Carolina Beach provides a distinctive waterfront experience as a popular floating bar. Situated near the north end of Carolina Beach, within the Carolina Beach Yacht Club area and specifically near marker "161" on the AICW, it offers stunning Intracoastal Waterway views. The atmosphere is casual and lively, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating options like deck chairs and picnic tables, and often includes live music. Patrons can enjoy a full bar with a variety of cocktails, eco-friendly canned beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. Essentially, The BARge is a go-to destination for those seeking a relaxed and enjoyable time with scenic water views

The Alley is a small bar located in the heart of the Cargo District Courtyard, they are located at the heart of the courtyard among lots of other small and growing local businesses. You can almost always count on meeting some friendly pups, and shop owners while enjoying a drink!

The Starling Whiskey and Wine Bar is the perfect destination in The Cargo District to unwind at the end of a long work day or on a relaxing weekend bar hop. The Starling’s greatest claim to fame is the award-winning cocktail makers behind the bar and extensive wine and whiskey collection featuring some antique bottles you won’t find anywhere else. They also offer a killer menu of mock-tails and NA beers! Look for live music, community events, curated tasting events and more. *They are a private club, so please be sure to fill out our membership form before you visit them. It’s free.

From the creators of Blossom Bay and Foxhound Flowers comes a new garden oasis and flower-loving watering hole. Offering floral workshops, live music, plant education, natural wines, and more, all nestled in a native plant garden. Perennial is for the plant curious and hardcore petalheads alike.

As destination floral designers, the Blossom Bay team was rarely working in our hometown of Wilmington. The seeds of Perennial were sown by a shared vision of creating a space where we can connect with nature and community. By cultivating a green space in downtown Wilmington with native flora, we are creating a habitat that’s beneficial to local ecosystems, and planting ourselves deeper in our beloved neighborhood. A space to gather, a place to learn, a trace of childlike wonder in an outdoor harbor.
