The patch will officially open on Thursday, October 1 and will be open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. After you pick out the perfect pumpkin, stick around for live music all October long on Thursdays and Fridays on the pier. Movie Night in the Patch

We're creating a cozy movie night in our beach pumpkin patch every Tuesday night this fall!

Our corn maze is family-friendly fun for all ages with over 4 miles of trails. the maze is made up of three different mazes that have three levels of difficulty, Children, Intermediate and Advance. The corn maze is 10 acres of endless turns with four different games you can play inside. If you solve a game, make sure to come back to the store to claim your prize! Every year, Trask Family Farms has a range of fall activities across 30 acres of fun including picking pumpkins, hay rides through the flower field and pumpkin patch, local honey, homemade ice cream, fields of flowers such as sunflowers and zinnias to u-pick, eating from local vendors, handmade goodies in the barn, live music and exploring our corn maze. Could there be a better way to spend the season?

Pick, Print, and Paint!

Learn the antique art of Cyanotype Printing, invented in 1842 and more popular than ever today! Wilmington artist Katie Elzer-Peters will guide you through creating a practice print and two 5×7 cyanotype prints that you can then paint with watercolor or take home as-is. You’ll also get to pick the flowers you paint AND take your bouquet home with you. It’ll be a perfect morning of creativity, experimentation, and frolicking in the flowers.

All supplies are provided and beginners are welcome! We can’t wait to create with you!

HOLIDAY WHOOBIE WHATTY

Don your best Whoville attire and join us for a Grinch-themed celebration. The evening will kick off with the announcing of the Kure Beach Cheermeister, followed by a viewing of the 2000 movie “The Grinch.” While the film is playing, you can visit different stations for face painting, Grinch crafts, cookie decorating, and photos with the Grinch. This event is free to attend, but the Town will be collecting donations for the Help Center of Federal Point.

The Kure Beach Cheermeister will represent the most festively decorated home in Kure Beach, as voted by the public. If you would like to nominate your home, please submit the online form along with 2 photos of your decorated home by the deadline. The Town will only accept self-nominations, as permission needs to be granted to publish the home photos and address for voting purposes.

Nominations are open from November 1st through December 14th at 10:00 AM. Voting will take place online between December 14th and December 17th. The winner will be contacted on December 17th and invited to receive their prize at the beginning of the Holiday Whoobie Whatty on Friday, December 18th.
