Carolina Beach Lake Park is a peaceful oasis just two blocks from the beach in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. This 11-acre freshwater lake is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the shore. Here's what the park offers:
- Relaxation and Nature: Take a stroll or jog on the paved walking path that circles the lake. Enjoy scenic views and keep an eye out for the resident ducks and geese.
- Family Fun: The park has a playground perfect for kids to burn off some energy. For a break from the sun, there's a covered picnic shelter where you can enjoy a meal with the family.
- Amenities: The park provides essential amenities like restrooms and several gazebos scattered around the lake, offering spots for shade and relaxation.
- Events: During the summer, Carolina Beach Lake Park transforms into a venue for movies and firework displays as part of the "Fireworks by the Sea and Boardwalk Blast" series. Around Christmas, the park comes alive with special lighting displays during the "Island of Lights" celebration.

Walking "The Loop" is a WB staple, this 2.45 mile loop offers scenic water views, pet water fountains, and tons of locals getting their steps in along the way.
The park itself offers tennis courts with an active pickleball community (check out their Facebook group "Wrightsville Beach Pickleball Group"), baseball fields, basketball courts. adult flag football and basketball leagues, and more.
The Monday Market is from 8AM - 1PM, May through December and primarily features locally grown fresh produce, other artisinal consumables, and craft vendors.
