Eden Village

Eden Village of Wilmington is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a supportive and affordable housing community for chronically homeless individuals. They provide tiny homes and community spaces, fostering a sense of belonging and stability. Their mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by offering not just shelter, but also a sense of community, support services, and opportunities for personal growth. They focus on creating a dignified living environment for individuals who have often experienced long-term homelessness.

Volunteer opportunties include:

• Join a Home Team: Each resident of Eden Village of Wilmington will has a supportive Home Team consistent of 4-6 people from the surrounding Wilmington, NC area that meets monthly and continues to ‘do life’ with that resident. There is a short educational program required to clearly explain the process, which includes no material gifts, rather just a supportive relationship. Home Teams meet the 3rd Saturday of the month.
