The Skate Barn

The Skate Barn is a legendary, privately-owned skate park in Hampstead, NC, that has been a cornerstone of the Southeastern North Carolina skateboarding community since its founding in 1996. Located in a repurposed paper mill shed, it is unique for offering a rare combination of both indoor and outdoor skating surfaces. The facility features 6,000 square feet of indoor ramps and obstacles completely covered in Skatelite, alongside a challenging full concrete outdoor skate run that includes various bowls, half-pipes, and street course elements. More than just a park, The Skate Barn is known for fostering community, culture, and creativity, hosting frequent contests, concerts, summer camps, and events for skaters of all ages and skill levels.
