Overview
Hampstead Kiwanis Park is the primary recreational and athletic hub for the community, spanning over 53 acres in Hampstead, NC. Developed in partnership with the Hampstead Kiwanis Club, this park is a cornerstone for Pender County Parks & Recreation and a major center for organized youth and adult sports.
The park boasts extensive amenities, including four lighted baseball/softball fields, three lighted multi-purpose fields (for soccer, lacrosse, and football), and four batting cages. For general recreation, the park features two playgrounds (one with a handicap-accessible swing), two sand volleyball courts, and a walking trail with fitness stations.
Recent expansions have significantly added to its offerings, including six tennis courts, four pickleball courts, and two basketball courts. With multiple picnic shelters and a concession stand, Hampstead Kiwanis Park is the perfect place for family gatherings, community events (like the annual Turkey Trot and Movie in the Park), and year-round sports activities
