Time to add another layer to the way we engage with history at WilmingtoNColor
Starting next month, we’re hosting a Black Beach History dinner + storytelling series inside a Black-owned 2x James Beard Award nominee and Top Chef restaurant
We’re calling it:
“Saltwater Stories: An Immersive Dining & Storytelling Experience of Coastal Carolina”
This first experience is centered on Shell Island 🏝️ what was once a thriving Black beach resort at Wrightsville Beach in the 1920s
A place of joy. Freedom. Culture, that most people don’t even know existed.
And while I’m telling that story in real time…
Chef Keith Rhodes will be serving a 5 star 3 course meal that goes with the story
So you’re not just hearing history, You’re tasting it.
