Neighbors for Nature: CAM Community Day

FREE admission to all programs and exhibitions
Celebrate the many ways the arts support environmental awareness at Neighbors for Nature, CAM’s free Community Day for all ages.
Enjoy a full day of art-making, interactive learning, and family fun. Cameron Art Museum, Airlie Gardens, New Hanover County Soil and Water, and other area environmental organizations come together to offer a wide variety of art projects and interactive collaborations to learn about the importance of nature and art.
We will also host community tables that will provide information about their organizations and the resources they offer.

Hands-on art projects and interactive activities for children and families
Plant Walks | 10:30 am and 12 pm
by the Boundless sculpture
hosted by The North Carolina Native Plant Society
ASL Guided Tour | 11:30 AM (family-friendly)
Opening of Best Foot Forward
Explore artwork by New Hanover County K–12 students as we celebrate this countywide visual arts showcase.
Live Performance by School of Rock | 2 PM
School of Rock in Wilmington brings performance-based music education to the stage, fostering creativity and personal growth through live music.
Community tables featuring regional environmental organizations and resources
Cameron Art Museum works with many community partners across our 8-county region to bring programming for the whole family. All activities are for all ages and abilities.
