Health and Human Services Week

UNCW’s College of Health and Human Services' Health and Human Services Week brings together the community alongside students, staff, faculty, healthcare providers, and community partners for timely conversations and hands-on learning. 

Programming includes research spotlights, trainings, panel discussions, case studies, lectures, simulations, and even a play! The week will cover a variety of topics including health equity, maternal health, cardiovascular care, linguistic and cultural competence, medication safety, addiction and recovery, permanent supportive housing, policy and patient care, social care hubs, digital health and smart speakers, clinical research, food insecurity and access, the science of empathy, advance care planning, hereditary cancer, mandatory reporting, human trafficking prevention, and more.
