Overview
Experience an unforgettable evening of homegrown music with two of Wilmington's most prolific songwriters, Jeff Reid and Catesby Jones. Their musical journey began in the summer of 1983, exchanging original songs in a bungalow on Wrightsville Beach, NC. Despite taking different paths, they reunited in Wilmington in 1996, leading to Jeff producing seven of Catesby's CDs and countless shared performances.
Catesby Jones, born in Versailles, Kentucky, and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, has a rich history in the folk music scene. He has performed in venues from Boston's folk clubs to Nashville's Bluebird Café, and co-wrote Travis Tritt's breakout hit 'Country Club.' Since moving to Wilmington in 1993, he has been a staple in the local music community. Jeff Reid, a New Orleans native raised in Wilmington, has been a dynamic force in the music industry since 1981. As a songwriter, producer, and publisher, he has performed across the United States, produced numerous CDs for regional artists, and served as the publisher and editor of Wilmington's music magazine, The Beat, from 2006 to 2011. Don't miss this special collaboration that showcases their enduring musical partnership and individual talents.
