Songs of Peace Festival.
This Saturday evening Waterline hosts the Songs of Peace Festival, a night of peace songs by local musicians, speakers, vendors, raffles and information tables, interactive activities, and more! This event is free and open to the public! $1 per beer sold will benefit the newly returned Encore Magazine and the newly formed Wilmington Peace Festival!
Music: Port City Ukuholics, Jesse Stockton,Jesse James DeConto (The Pinkerton Raid), Kelly Zullo, and Nate Gerry
Speakers: Velva Jenkins (YWCA), Dr. Lesley Daspit (UNCW), Rev. Meg McBride (The Warming Shelter), and TR Nunley (Wilmington Transgender Support Services). (6-9pm)
