Stained Glass One-Day Crash Course

Want to learn the stained glass process in just one day? In this beginner-friendly one-day class, you'll be guided through each step of the traditional copper foil method—from selecting a design and choosing your glass to scoring, cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing your piece. All supplies are included! By the end of the session, you’ll have hands-on experience with essential tools and techniques, a basic understanding of the stained glass process, and your own handmade stained glass piece to take home!

Taught by local artist Stella Tharin, whose work is inspired by the coastal beauty of Wilmington, nature, astrology and more. With several years of experience, Stella blends traditional stained glass techniques with a modern, approachable style to make the craft fun and accessible for everyone!
