Wannabe has grown to become one of the most sought after tribute acts in North America, selling out concert halls, theatres, clubs, casinos, outdoor festivals for the past 13 years.

With giant personalities, mega-watt singing voices, spot-on choreography, costume changes, English accents and platform shoes, these powerhouse women bring Girl Power into the 21st century. Think every inch of nostalgia brought to life. As the band has gained popularity, shows have expanded to include not only Spice Girls songs, but hits from other 90’s superstars including Brittany Spears, Janet Jackson, and Madonna. Notable credits include appearing on stages alongside legendary acts including: TLC, The Goo Goo Dolls, Aqua, 98 Degrees, O-Town, Aaron Carter, Lance Bass (N*Sync) and Drag Queens Roxxxy Andrews, Nina West and Tynomi Banks.

ABOUT THE BEEHIVE BLONDES:

Retro DJ duo - Founders Jess James & Hannah Stewart O'Hanlon. The Beehive Blondes, established in 2017, connect with the crowd through their favorite music: 50's rock n roll, girl groups, Motown, 60’s Soul, disco and a little 80’s and 90’s. They specialize in leading an interactive nostalgic journey and for being “Party Starters.”

The Beehive Blondes turn up the energy at every event, always ready to dance - or hula hoop! Hannah, who was a DJ in London for 8 years, and Jess both have a background in styling and event planning and spend their days in the vintage world. At each event, they arrive in coordinating head-to-toe vintage and of course rocking their beehives! The BB’s are known for their endless fun energy, creative marketing, unique set-up and engaging props.

In the summer of 2024, Hannah expanded the business to the UK and Jess added a main "B Side Blonde" in Wilmington, Lauren Jones.

Beehive Jess and Lauren will be kicking off the Wannabe party with a 90’s dance party July 24th at 7pm!
