Get ready for an unforgettable July 4th celebration in historic downtown Wilmington! We invite you to spend the day exploring our charming shops and diverse dining options before heading to the riverfront for an evening of music, family fun, and a dazzling fireworks display.

Event Details

Riverfront Park will host a special, family-friendly program featuring a performance by the renowned Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. The festivities kick off at 5:00 PM with music and more, followed by the Symphony at 7:00 PM. As darkness falls, prepare for a spectacular fireworks show from 9:05 PM to 9:25 PM, perfectly visible along the nearly two-mile-long Riverwalk.

This event is free for all spectators, making it an accessible celebration for everyone. Food and drink will be available for purchase from various vendors. Please note that this is a cashless venue, so be sure to bring your cards or digital payment methods.
