Carolina Beach State Park Cleanup

Come join us for a fun afternoon of cleaning up this beautiful state park! The cleanup event will begin with a short educational program including the history of the Lily Pond and park. This cleanup is in partnership with Carolina Beach State Park, Sierra Club Cape Fear, Life Point Church and Friends of Pleasure Island State Parks. From the visitor center, the Lily pond is about a 20 minute walk in. Volunteers are welcome to stay for any duration throughout the 3 hour event. Since 2022, POP has helped remove 7,266 pounds of trash from CBSP. Earning almost 290 trees for Plastic Ocean Project's Trees4Trash initiative. Come Join us! Can't attend?
