Harvest Festival Fundraiser

Oct 19th: Farm Fun, Shrimp Boil & BBQ Dinner! Join us as we celebrate the goodness that has come from our community's work to feed our neighbors this year. As we give thanks & celebrate, we'll also look ahead to the rest of the 2024 growing season & continue working toward a more food secure community in New Hanover County. We'd love to have you with us! Festival Activities (2-5pm) Sack Races, Scare Crow Building Competition, Face Painting, Crafts, Pumpkin Baked Good Competition (submit your entries by 3pm!) Food Security in NHC Panel Discussion (4-5pm) Community Leaders and Organizers will be sharing about how we can work together toward the goal of all people having consistent access to fresh & nutritious food in our community. BBQ & Shrimp Boil Dinner (5-7pm) We love food & want to share some with you! Join us for a delicious, locally sourced meal Dinner and Festival Activities are free and open to the public! All are welcome. Donations toward our fall fundraising goal of $15,000 are greatly appreciated!
