30 local artisans join to raise funds for local nonprofits each 4th Friday of the month, hosted by Shuckin Shack Leland (Brunswick Forest, across from Lowe's- Pro tip take 140 to Shack & bypass traffic) Different local nonprofit each market, usually an animal rescue/shelter as NC is #2 in the country for euthanasia. All are in crisis right now as adoptions/fosters/donations are low & ppl are surrendering their pets to shelters (most are kill shelters) 1/3 of vendor booth fee is donated to that market's nonprofit *not including donations/purchases from merch *if any etc. family & pet friendly charity events, free to attend/parking/free. Face painting & mobile pet portrait vendor w at max 30 handcrafted vendors each market. Meet the markers/locals- market 4-8 , live music 6-9, learn/donate to local nonprofits & scrumptious food & drinks by Shuckin Shack Leland (new menu)!
