The Black Arts Alliance is proud to present the 21st Annual North Carolina Black Film Festival, May 16-19, 2024 in Wilmington, NC. The four-day juried and invitational festival of independent motion pictures by African-American filmmakers will showcase features, shorts and documentary films. Trophies will be awarded in each category.

Sponsors of this year’s North Carolina Black Film Festival include the Arts Council of Wilmington and New Hanover County, Dawson Med Primary and Urgent Care, Ken Weeden and Associates, Southern Documentary Fund, nCino, Cape Fear Community College, CFCC Nixon Leaders Center, Coast 97.3FM, Jengo’s Playhouse, and Cameron Art Museum.
