Jazz at the Mansion has been so fun this summer that we’ve added another concert date! Join us on October 14th for a performance by Projekt Elektryk, a bespoke modern jazz ensemble organized by local bassist Dillon Goodson.

Known to the Cape Fear community for his work on upright bass, Dillon’s newest project is a departure from the traditional jazz idiom to music celebrating the versatility of the electric bass guitar. For this performance, Dillon is joined by tenor saxophonist, Rich Zimmerman, drummer Jon Hill, and pianist Adam Fenton. Projekt Elektryk has prepared an inspired repertoire echoing the groundbreaking music of Jaco Pastorius, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and other greats from past and present.
