Fresh, colorful, and unexpectedly satisfying—this class puts a creative plant-forward spin on a classic poke bowl by using marinated watermelon as the star ingredient. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to cut and properly marinate watermelon so it takes on a savory, umami-rich flavor that mimics traditional poke while staying completely plant-based.

We’ll build vibrant bowls layered with sushi rice, crisp vegetables, and bold sauces, focusing on balance, texture, and flavor contrast in every bite. You’ll also learn how to create simple, versatile marinades and sauces that can be used across other plant-based meals at home.

At the end of class, everyone will sit down together and enjoy the watermelon poke bowls they created—a bright, refreshing meal that proves plant-based cooking can be just as crave-worthy and satisfying.

What to expect:

• From 6pm to 8 pm on Friday, 2 hour cooking class

• You will work with others in a group of 12.

• While we dont offer alcoholic drinks, you can bring your own wine or beer.
