Attention to my home town right here in Wilmington, NC!
This Sunday, Captain Red will be making his first pit stop right here in Wilmington as he begins the @thegreatloopchallenge for a second time.
Captain Red is a Stage 4 melanoma survivor who was inspired during his own cancer journey after seeing children courageously battling cancer. Since then, he’s dedicated his Great Loop mission to raising money and awareness for the @nationalpcf .. Last time, he raised over $500,000—this year, we’re shooting for $1 million!
A huge thank you to @trailborn_surfandsound and @soundside_wb for hosting this event, and to @moesbarbequeilm , @wbbeers , and @jesse_stockton_music for generously donating food, drinks, and live music to support this incredible cause. We’d also like to thank @thefuelwave for donating fuel, and @hondamarine_usa @velocitypowerboats and @portaproducts for supporting Captain Red’s journey.
🎟️ $30 admission — 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
