Celebrate one of the South’s sweetest treasures during this unforgettable seasonal experience at The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina.
Step into the gardens during peak fig season and discover the fascinating journey of the fig—from tree to table. Guests will enjoy a guided exploration of our fig trees and gardens. Along the way, you’ll harvest fresh figs, sample delicious fig-inspired hors d’oeuvres, and enjoy a signature seasonal beverage.
The experience continues with a hands-on fig preserve workshop, where you’ll learn the traditional art of making homemade fig preserves using fresh-picked fruit. Each guest will help create and take home one to two jars of preserves to enjoy long after the event.
