Please join us for Kids@CAM and come celebrate Tanabata, with Kana Sahashi from UNCW.
In Japan, they celebrate the Star Festival, called Tanabata, on July 7. Around mid-June, people prepare for the festival by writing their wishes on narrow strips of paper called tanzaku and hanging them on bamboo with decorations at the entrance to their homes, schools, and public places.
Kids@CAM is an event for everyone, parents included! We will have activities for different ages, including writing wishes to hang on tree branches, origami, and watercolor. You can also take part in a guided tour at 11:30 am
Adult member: free; Adult non-member: $5
Children: $10 (under 2: Free)
