The 8th annual UPTILT Film Fest (North Carolina's ONLY female & gender-expansive film festival) is coming from March 22 - 24, 2024!

WE REFUND SUBMISSION FEES FOR ALL ACCEPTED FILMS AND PAY A SMALL SCREENING FEE FOR ALL ACCEPTED FILMS***

We believe women have incredible stories to tell!

We showcase the works of female and gender-expansive filmmakers all over the world in an effort to encourage and support filmmakers.

We encourage filmmakers who identify as a woman and gender-expansive folks who identify with womanhood to submit their films!

We accept narratives, docs, experimental, animation, and any genre – we want to see it all! Join us as we celebrate the power of female filmmakers!! This three-day festival is all about films made by women (and gender-expansive folks).

Films must be complete, no longer than thirty-nine minutes, and must be directed and/or written by a female or gender-expansive person OR 50% of the following must be female and/or gender expansive: Writer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor
