Create Your Own Ceramic Coffee Mug

***The ArtSea Shop & Studio is located at 3 South 2nd St, Units 150 & 160, in downtown Wilmington***

In this class, students will learn the simple process of soft slab-building to create a favorite mug. Demonstration will be given on how to prepare clay slabs, add interesting surface designs, and form slabs into your new favorite mug. Final glazed mugs can be picked up from the shop 3 weeks from the event date. All levels are welcome!

All supplies will be provided, including clay, glaze, tools, aprons, and all other needed items.

Red & white wine will be served, along with dessert cookies!

Instructor Bio:

Shannon is a local high school art teacher and she teaches ceramics at the Cameron Art Museum. She majored in ceramics at Arizona State University and fell in love with the pottery of the southwest. Shannon loves teaching and guiding students to feel successful and creative in making their own art with clay.
