City of Wilmington Firework Shows

America’s 250 is lighting up Wilmington in a big way this Fourth of July! 🎆

This year’s City of Wilmington celebration will feature not one, but TWO simultaneous fireworks shows. One launched across from Riverfront Park and another from a barge near the Battleship. The Riverwalk will be the best place to take in the full experience as the sky comes alive over the Cape Fear River.

The evening will also feature a performance by the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra, including a newly commissioned piece by local composer Chelsea Loew, created in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.

Event parking will be available for $10 after 4 p.m. at City parking decks, and on-street metered parking will be free.
