Cape Fear Blue Marlin Tournament

The 2026 Cape Fear Blue Marlin Tournament is the 53rd anniversary of one of the most competitive sport fishing events on the East Coast billfish circuit. Held from May 27–30, 2026, in the heart of Wrightsville Beach, this popular catch-and-release tournament gathers top anglers to hunt for Blue Marlin in the fertile offshore waters of the Gulf Stream.

• Location: Headquarters and daily weigh-ins take place at the Seapath Marina & Yacht Club.
• Format: The event features three primary days of fishing (Thursday through Saturday), with daily weigh-ins open to the public from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
