City of Wilmington Demo Day

The City’s annual Demo Day event is back, in celebration of National Public Works Week. This event is a free, hands-on community event celebrating the people that help keep Wilmington running every day. Themed “Rooted in Service, Powered by Community,” Demo Day offers the public a unique opportunity to get an up-close look at the vehicles, tools, technology, and teams behind essential City services. From stormwater management and traffic engineering to urban forestry, fleet maintenance, solid waste services, and landscaping, attendees will experience firsthand how public works professionals serve the community. The event will feature: • Live equipment demonstrations • Interactive exhibits and educational displays • Opportunities to meet City staff and learn about public service careers • Local food trucks on site
