Overview
Hot Tonic Orchestra, described as “Postmodern Jukebox meets Amy Winehouse,” fuses jazz with Latin rhythms, funk and soul, tied together by original arrangements. This large band returns to the Side Door to celebrate the music of Burt Bacharach and lyricist, Hal David. Special guests for the evening include vocalist Bryan Hughes and trumpeter James Suggs. Co-led by vocalist/bassist Victoria Woods and guitarist Josh Hindmarsh, Hot Tonic mixes horns and a dynamic rhythm section and has performed throughout the USA and in Australia and New Zealand.
