Bridging Histories, Forging Futures: Celebrating 200 Years of Brazil-US Relations

In May 2024, Brazil and the United States will commemorate 200 years of diplomatic relations. To mark this milestone, the Wilson Center’s Brazil Institute will host a conversation on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (ET), to reflect on the intertwined histories of these two nations, shaped by the transatlantic slave trade and the enduring struggles for racial equity.
